wet towel and you will see layers of dirt and dust on your face. Only soap is
not enough to get rid of all the dust and to get back clear skin. Face wash can
be a good substitute for regular soaps. Face wash helps in cleaning the face by
removing dirt from the pores and also by moisturizing the skin, which soap is incapable of doing. However, though less, face wash also contain some amount of
chemicals that might prove to be harmful for your skin if used regularly. The
face wash you choose should not only contain minimum amount of harmful chemical
contents but should also fight back various skin problems that you confront. It
is a better idea to make a face wash for you at home using organic ingredients.

Homemade Face Wash
Gentle Oatmeal Facial Cleanser
Ingredients

tbsp plain Yogurt
- ½
cup of oatmeal or cornmeal
Procedure
- Mix
the ingredients together till blended properly.
- Apply
the mixture all over the face, avoiding the eyes.
- Allow
it to sit for 10 minutes and then rinse it.
Coconut Cleanser
Ingredients
- 1
tsp Glycerine
- 3
tsp Coconut Oil
- 1
tsp Olive Oil

tsp Water
Procedure
- Melt
all the ingredients together in a double boiler.
- Once
melted, remove from heat and beat with a whisk for 5 minutes. Transfer it
to a jar when cooled.
Face Wash For Oily Skin

oz Yogurt
- 1
tbsp Lemon Juice
Procedure
- Add
in lemon juice and honey to yogurt and mix it well. Apply it over the face
once the mixture is well blended.
- Apply
the mixture evenly to the entire face including the ‘T’ zone. Massage the
face wash in a circular motion and then rinse it with warm water.
Face Wash For Sensitive Skin
Ingredients

parts ground Oatmeal
- 1
part Baking Soda
Procedure
- Mix
together oatmeal and baking soda and add in ½ tsp warm water.
- Rub
the mixture gently over the face in a circular motion and then rinse off
with warm water.
- You
can refrigerate the mixture for further use. Add water to it before apply
it on your face for the next time.
Face Wash For Dry Skin
Ingredients

tsp Honey

tbsp Whole Milk

tsp Almond Oil
Procedure
- Pour
in milk, honey and oil in a bowl and mix them together well.
- Once
properly mixed, apply it properly all over your face, massaging in a
circular motion for about 2 minutes.

off after 2 minutes with the help of warm damp cloth.
Face Wash For Acne

drops of Geranium Essential Oil

drops of Vitamin E Oil

tbsp Jojoba Oil

drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil

Procedure
- Mix
all the ingredients together and place them in a 2 oz glass bottle.
- Apply
the face wash evenly and wash off with warm water. Make sure to shake the
bottle well before apply the face wash.

Savory Cranberry Facial Wash
Ingredients

cup Boiling Water
- 1
tbsp Savory Leaves (Dried and Crushed)

cup Cranberries
Procedure
- Steep
dried savory in boiling water for 15 minutes and then strain out the
liquid.
- Puree
the cranberries in a blender and then strain and save the juice. Now
combine all the ingredients together.
- Soak
cotton pads with the liquid and press against your face for 5 minutes,
avoiding the eye area.
- Remove
the pads and then rinse your face with warm water.
Almond Milk Dry Skin Cleanser
Ingredients

tbsp Whole Milk

tsp Almond Oil
Procedure
- Mix
the ingredients together in a bowl and then apply it to your skin in a
circular motion for 2 minutes.
- After
2 minutes of massaging, rinse your face with warm water.
